3D Realistic Cinematic
ABOUT THIS PROJECT:
We worked with The Studio, NY to create the :90s 3D Realistic Cinematic shown above to test their 2022 Christmas Ad concept titled “Melt For You”. The spot went to Broadcast on Thanksgiving Day, marking the first National Holiday Commercial collaboration between Frito-Lay and PepsiCo Beverages.
The Broadcast spot is a mix of animation and real-life footage, a group of snow friends: Chip, Sleet, Ava, Slush, & Flurry, plan a strategy to sneak inside a home in pursuit of Frito-Lay and PepsiCo Beverages products such as: Lay’s, Doritos, Pepsi Zero Sugar, and Mountain Dew…one snowman cuts it close, but successfully escapes in time, losing only a nose which is replaced with a single Doritos chip.
At the center of it all is Frito-Lay’s new digital Holiday Village, an immersive experience for exploring virtual storefronts and discovering limited-time snacks, branded merch, bundled with classic chips, and joyful holiday content. Frito-Lay will continue its partnership with Toys for Tots for a 3rd year and a $500k donation will help support children across the U.S. with deliveries of toys, books and other gifts.
