01  Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using animatedstoryboards.com (“the Site”) or any services offered by Animated Storyboards LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site immediately.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and clients who engage with our services in any capacity.

Continued use of our Site or services following any updates to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

02  Services Description

Animated Storyboards LLC provides professional storyboarding and animation pre-visualization services, including but not limited to:

  • Custom animated storyboard creation for film, television, advertising, and digital content
  • Pre-visualization (previs) and animatics production
  • Script-to-storyboard translation and scene planning
  • Revisions and iterative design based on client feedback
  • Delivery of final assets in agreed-upon digital formats

 

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time. Significant changes affecting active projects will be communicated to affected clients directly.

03  User Accounts

Certain features of our Site may require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information at registration and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us immediately at legal@animatedstoryboards.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to or use of your account. We will not be liable for any loss arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account found to violate these Terms or used for any fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise unauthorized purpose.

04  Intellectual Property

All original content on the Site — including but not limited to graphics, text, logos, site design, and sample work — is the exclusive property of Animated Storyboards LLC and is protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

Regarding work created for clients: upon receipt of full payment, clients receive full ownership rights to the final delivered storyboard assets, unless otherwise specified in a separate written agreement. We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless a client requests otherwise in writing prior to project commencement.

Work-in-progress materials, style frames, and preliminary drafts remain the property of Animated Storyboards LLC until final payment is received and a formal transfer of rights has been executed.

 

You may not reproduce, redistribute, or repurpose any content from the Site without prior written consent.

05  Payments & Refunds

All project fees are outlined in individual project proposals or statements of work agreed upon between the client and Animated Storyboards LLC. Unless otherwise stated in writing:

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work begins
  • The remaining balance is due upon delivery of final assets
  • Rush fees may apply for projects requiring turnaround under 72 hours
  • Additional revision rounds beyond those specified in the proposal are billed at our standard hourly rate

 

Refunds for the deposit are not available once production has commenced. If a project is cancelled after final delivery, no refund will be issued. Disputes regarding billing must be raised within 14 days of invoice receipt.

06  Prohibited Uses

By using our Site and services, you agree not to engage in any of the following:

  • Using our services for any unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise harmful purpose
  • Submitting content that infringes on any third party’s intellectual property rights
  • Attempting to reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the Site
  • Misrepresenting your identity or affiliation when engaging with our services
  • Interfering with the security, integrity, or performance of the Site
  • Reselling or sublicensing our services without prior written authorization

 

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of services, forfeiture of any deposits paid, and pursuit of legal remedies where applicable.

07  Disclaimers

Our Site and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. Any reliance on information found on the Site is at your own risk. We do not guarantee specific creative outcomes, production timelines, or commercial results from the use of our storyboard services.

08  Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Animated Storyboards LLC and its principals, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or our services.

Our total liability to any client for any claims arising under or related to a project shall not exceed the total fees paid by that client for the specific project giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability — whether in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

09  Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Site or any ongoing services at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to us, other users, or third parties.

Upon termination of an active project by either party: the client remains responsible for payment for all work completed up to the date of termination, and we will deliver any completed assets for which payment has been received. Deposits are non-refundable upon termination after work has commenced.

These Terms survive any termination or expiration of provisions governing intellectual property, payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
